Animal skeletons meet Open Access

Today, I played around with CatScan, trying to identify Open Access files in certain subject categories on Wikimedia Commons.

One of these was the intersection between Animal skeletons and Open access (publishing), which gave the following results:

Dinosaur skulls File:Pachycephalosaurus skull.png (Media from PLoS ONE)
Dinosauria skeletal diagrams File:Spinophorosaurus.png (Media from PLoS ONE)
Dinosaur skulls File:Stygimoloch skull.png (Media from PLoS ONE)
Dinosauria skeletal diagrams File:Wintonotitan wattsi.png (Media from PLoS ONE)
Anura skeletons File:X-ray of paratype of Paedophryne amauensis (LSUMZ 95002).png (Media from PLoS ONE)
Anura skeletons File:X-ray of paratype of Paedophryne swiftorum (BPBM 31886).png (Media from PLoS ONE)

The second one of these is now today’s Open Access File of the Day:
